Alright so I've been on this crazy Pokemon high ALL DAY and I honestly feel like I won't be able to sleep unless I get all this craziness out of me.
So please, my lovely beautiful watchers, prepare yourselves for a very long journal all about my opinions on newer games, what's been released about X and Y, and my hopes for it.

Let's start with my opinion on newer games.
Just to get all this love out there- THEY WERE GREAT. I mean, I haven't played Black or White #2, but I have played Platinum, Heartgold, and Black 1.
And out of all those, Platinum was debatably my favorite pokemon game of all time for a while. I mean seriously DISTORTION WORLD. DAMN that was cool.
My favorite Pokemon game now? ...Oh man guys, I just don't know.
I have the most to say about Pokemon Black though.

At first I was very critical of this game and dumped a lot of hate onto a lot of the Pokemon in it.
For starters I was mad because for the second generation in a row I HATED the fire starter which is hard for me cause out of the three fire has always been my favorite.
I also thought a lot of the things the Pokemon were based on were incredibly stupid like Trubbish the trash bag and Vallinite the ice cream cone but once I actually thought about it those are just as bad if not better than Pokemon like Muk so I stopped giving them a hard time and just accepted all the new guys to the family. Strangely enough, by the time I did that a lot of the BW Pokemon ended up taking a place in my all time favorites such as Emolga, Zoroark, Volcarona and...*drumroll please*...CHANDELURE! I'm ashamed to admit this Pokemon was one of the ones I laughed at because of what it was based on but then I got a good look at it and oh man...right up at the top. I'm not even kidding. Chandelure is my number one favorite pokemon. I JUST LOVE IT SO MUCH. Anyway, as much as N creeped me out and Bianca confused me and Cheren made me angry cause I just couldn't stop seeing him as a ripoff of Uryu from Bleach I really enjoyed how the plotline of Pokemon BW was a bit more complicated and interesting and made more sense than a team wanting to take over the world. I mean, by the end of the game I actually felt like I really knew and could relate to some of the characters which is awesome. Well, that's all I can say about BW so lets move on to what I think about XY so far.
To say that I'm excited for this game would be a HUGE understatement. I've never BEEN so excited for Pokemon game. I just have a feeling that they REALLY know what they're doing with this game. So let's start off with the Pokemon. I ACTUALLY LIKE THE FIRE STARTER! YES!!! I do think the should have had fire rather than fur come out of Fennekin's ears but eh, the little guy's pretty cute so I'll take what I can get. Chespin and Froakie aren't bad either. While Froakie isn't too pretty in my opinion, I think all the starters in this game are pretty freaking cool. Now...Sylveon and Mewthree/Mewtwo's awakened form/Jesus/whatever the hell you want to call it I'M CALLING IT MEWTHREE didn't quite cut it for me. Sylveon's cute, I'll give it that, but it looks more like a Littlest Pet Shop than a Pokemon. I honestly just don't like when Pokemon look like they're wearing clothes or accessories. I mean WHAT ARE THOSE? ARE THOSE BOWS MADE OF FLESH? WHAT THE HELL?! (Also, why just one Eeveelution? Aren't they always in pairs? Not cool. Also I predict Sylveon being Steel. I just don't really want a new type. Seems like that would be unnecessary and confusing.) And Mewthree...bleh...what can I say about this? We have Mew, we have Mewtwo, let's keep it at that. I don't even know what to think of Mewthree's design. I just...no.  BUT the newest four of our Pokemon friends are AWESOME! I love all of them, really. My only complaint is Gogoat has a pretty stupid name and sticks out like a sore thumb in the batch of four but even with that I really love that Pokemon a lot. My favorite out of the four, however, has to be Helioptile. He's adorable, awesome, AND has a unique type combo. I just love him. As for the legendaries, I don't have a problem with Xerneas-he's kinda meh for me. But I DO really like Yveltal. Despite looking like a Lugia that's had its skin ripped off, that legendary is pretty freaking badass. I'm also happy to see they aren't as cluttered looking as Reshiram and Zekrom or the abominations that are Kyurem mixed with the two. Ugh. There's a lot of things I've seen regarding gameplay such as sitting, diagonal movement, etc. which is all VERY good and I'm VERY happy about it. I mean, you can even ride Gogoat! HOW COOL IS THAT? You can also choose between 3 trainers of each gender which, while it isn't as complicated of a character customization as I had hoped, I'm happy that I do FINALLY have some choice in the matter. It's also a rumor that you'll be able to change their clothes and accessories which would be EPIC! And all this leads me to my next topic; my hopes for X and Y.
I'm not gonna number these cause I honestly don't know what I want the most so these will all be very random. One thing I REALLY want is to be able to see the Pokemon you fly and surf on and, like Gogoat, RIDE! With the riding thing I REALLY hope you can ride any 4 legged Pokemon that's big enough anywhere you want, but maybe that's asking too much. With flying, it would be great if you could control the Pokemon in flight to take you where you want rather than clicking it on a map. This would take more time, yes, but it would be totally cool and tons of fun. For those of you that played Skyward Sword, how awesome was it to ride your Loftwing around? Personally, I never got tired of it. I also hope for a lot more evolutions for previously evolutionless Pokemon in earlier generations. There's no Pokemon that I want this for more than Sableye. Sableye is amazing and has been a favorite of mine for a long time and I think and evolution or two for him would be pretty dang cool. I also want them to bring back amazing features such as walking with your Pokemon and Secret Bases. I don't think there's a Pokefan alive that didn't think those were great ideas. I also want there to be a lot more obstacles in the routes. I want routes that make me think or are memorable or are actually fun to run around in. On top of that, I'd love a complex storyline. Maybe, MAYBEMAYBEMAYBE on that gives you choices and paths to take that would make your gaming experience really unique and different every time. I want there to be plot twists that really make me go "OH MY HOLY LORD WHAT?! WHAT?!?!?!". THIS HAS TO BE INTENSE, GUYS. POKEMON DONT FAIL ME NOW! It would also be nice to explore the world with a friend. Not the whole time, just the temporary-connection-Animal Crossing sort of thing. Actually, Animal Crossing Wild World got it spot on. I want something like that. And now, my most ridiculous pokemon dream that will probably never happen, is about Pokemon storage systems. These have always depressed my probably more than they should. Now this is gonna sound crazy but hear me out-get rid of the stupid evil storage system that holds a bunch of lonely Pokemon in limbo never to see the light of day again. Instead, have like this field or building or something-kind of like where you keep your teammates in Mystery Dungeon-so your Pokemon that didn't make the cut to be in your team can actually roam free and be happy and LIVE THEIR FREAKING LIVES. You still be able to access them from Pokemon Centers, but you could also go to where they are and interact with them like a good Pokemon owner should. Pet them, feed them pokeblocks or poffins or whatever, I also think you should be able to do this with daycare Pokemon, or be able to release your team Pokemon in your secret base and interact with them there too. Maybe interacting would raise stats or happiness or freaking beauty levels of all things. I dunno. SOMETHING. I want to actually feel like I'm taking care of these creatures-not just using them as war slaves.
